TrueCall® Geoanalytics Leveraged in Huawei OSSii Agreement
Leveraging a Suite of Applications for Monitoring, Optimizing, Automating and Monetizing Services
WESTFORD, Mass., 14 de abril de 2016 – NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC., (NASDAQ: NTCT) today announced it has signed with Huawei an Operations Support Systems Interoperability Initiative (OSSii) agreement that will extend the availability, reliability and capability of NETSCOUT’s TrueCall® geoanalytics platform.
NETSCOUT, which also has OSSii agreements with Ericsson and Nokia, is now the first service-assurance provider to complete agreements with all three companies and the only end-to-end service assurance provider with full-license data sources for the radio access network. The company can increase TrueCall’s reach and availability across a wider set of radio access technology (RAT) types and management systems as well as providing end-to-end visibility with integrated tools suite unmatched in the industry.
TrueCall is a real-time 24x7 network-wide geoanalytics platform. It hosts a suite of applications that provide monitoring, visualization, optimization, automation and monetization solutions.
Richard Kenedi, president of NETSCOUT’s service provider business unit, said: “TrueCall supports high-value, mission-critical, real-time, 24x7 network-wide applications that we can extend with our three OSSii agreements. In addition, it strengthens the end-to-end visibility of our Service Assurance tools by extending them into the RAN.”
OSSii is an initiative led by major network infrastructure vendors. It aims to facilitate the interoperability between network management systems from different vendors. OSSii promotes competition for network-level OSS systems by reducing the overall integration costs, as well as speeding up the time-to-market for new services.
