Ovum Issues Executive Update Highlighting Growing Strength of Tektronix Communications and Newfield Wireless, New Acquisitions of NETSCOUT
PLANO, TX – 26 de agosto de 2015 – Tektronix Communications and Newfield Wireless, wholly owned subsidiaries of NETSCOUT SYSTEMS, INC., today announced leading global technology research and advisory firm Ovum has published an executive update about the growing strength created by acquisitions.
The report, entitled “Newfield Wireless's operator proposition is strengthened through acquisitions,” highlights that since Tektronix Communications acquired Newfield Wireless in diciembre de 2013, the combined company can now “jointly provide operators with end-to-end solutions. This is especially important as operators start to roll out more demanding services like VoLTE.”
NETSCOUT Co-founder, President, and CEO Anil Singhal’s industry vision was the root cause and prime mover of the merger announced on 14 de julio de 2015 between NETSCOUT and Danaher’s Communications Business, which includes Tektronix Communications and Newfield Wireless.
This executive note is an update to Ovum’s Principal Analyst Daryl Schoolar ‘On the Radar’ report published in marzo de 2013. In it, Schoolar highlights the increased strength of the company’s flagship TrueCall® real-time geoanalytics platform since the initial acquisition.
“Extra resources have helped improve the TrueCall product, with a new user interface, streamlined processes, and automation of some features to make TrueCall more proactive,” Schoolar writes.
About the now-global sales reach, Schoolar adds: “Previously, Newfield Wireless had been limited to targeting North American operators. Tektronix Communication's global footprint changed that view.”
